Glynis Wright exceeds revenue estimation
A newly-established family law firm has doubled its expected turnover after setting up in Leicester six months ago.
Glynis Wright Family Solicitors said revenue has soared after securing working capital and start-up business plan support from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
Wright launched her own family law and mediation practice at 5 Bowling Green Street, Leicester, in April.
The firm currently employs two members of staff and is looking to recruit a legal executive or assistant solicitor after recording a rapid rise in revenue.
Turnover is double what she expected with the majority of her clients following her from her previous company, combined with new clients through recommendations.
Wright said: "I joined the legal profession later than most people at the age of 37, and knew it was for me from the outset.
"Family law in particular struck a chord with me and it is great to be able to combine my career as a divorce lawyer with helping people through what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives."
