Red Rose grows with Santander cash boost

Share | |

A Newark-based nursing home is opening its doors to 18 new residents after using a development loan to extend its premises.

Red Rose Nursing Home has expanded with the addition of a specialist memory unit. The development was backed with a loan from Santander Corporate Banking.

The new extension will be completed next month and will offer accommodation and care for people suffering with Alzheimer's or dementia.

Red Rose Nursing Home is managed by parent company Red Homes Healthcare, which also owns Red Roofs Care Home and Parklands Care Home.

In addition to the three care homes, Red Homes Healthcare also operates a domiciliary care business.

Gary McLoughlin, relationship director at Santander Corporate Banking, said: "I am delighted we have been able to assist Red Homes Healthcare with the extension of Red Rose Care Home. They are a very important local business in the Newark area and we are confident they will continue to be successful and achieve their growth ambitions."
