Automotive manufacturer Sertec has moved into new premises in Coleshill after winning a contract with Jaguar Land Rover.

Sertec Group Holdings has expanded into 6,041 sq ft of space at Unit 2, Trillennium, after being awarded a contract to supply components for Jaguar Land Rover's new Evoque model.

The deal was brokered by Graham Darby of GR Darby & Co. in Coleshill, acting on behalf of Sertec, and Jonathan Robinson of DTZ in Birmingham, acting on behalf of Box Telematics.

The property includes production and warehouse space with office accommodation and a separate car park and yard area.

Trillennium forms part of the recent expansion of the Coleshill Industrial Estate.

Sertec supplies presswork and welded assemblies to Jaguar Land Rover and currently employs 275 staff at its Coleshill factory, generating a turnover of £40m. It is anticipated the expansion at Trillennium could lead to an additional 25 jobs at the plant.

Graham Darby of GR Darby, who acted on behalf of Sertec, said: "The unit at Trillennium fitted the bill and the facility will be used for the production of body panels for the new Evoque model."
