Kerr defects to RSM Tenon
The Leicester office of accountancy firm RSM Tenon has poached Eddie Kerr from rival PKF.
Kerr was a partner at PKF's Leicester office, where he worked for 15 years.
He will take up the role of up the director of corporate recovery at RSM Tenon at its Bede Island office.
Kerr will deal with industry sectors including manufacturing, leisure, retail, recruitment, construction, distribution and independent financial advisers.
He said: "We are currently moving away from formal insolvencies, concentrating on advisory roles, carrying out group reconstructions with the full support of the funders, instead of winding businesses up.
"It is clearly still a difficult time for some businesses, but it is not all doom and gloom because there are opportunities. We are here to assist companies in trouble – helping them in a variety of ways."
Kerr will be heading up the Leicester recovery team under the leadership of Dilip Dattani who has been promoted to regional director, overseeing the East and West Midlands.
