Williamson & Soden poaches Carter
West Midlands law firm Williamson & Soden has recruited Nick Carter as partner and head of commercial litigation.
Carter joins the firm after 11 years as a partner at Birmingham-based solicitors Anthony Collins.
In his new role at Williamson & Soden, his mandate will involve increasing the scale and scope of the firm's litigation practice.
Ian Williamson, senior partner at Williamson & Soden, said: "We are delighted that Nick is joining us and we believe that he will have a major impact in supporting our growth strategy."
Carter specialises in the enforcement of general contractual arrangements through mediation and court action.
He said: "I have a broad experience in commercial litigation and I will be working closely with colleagues in the corporate team to demonstrate a new focus on resolving commercial disputes.
"I expect to be working with existing clients of the firm and to be involved in a new business drive."
Williamson & Soden has offices in Solihull and Birmingham.
