Exco InTouch wins £3m investment
Edwalton-based communications company Exco InTouch has secured a £3m private equity investment from Scottish Equity Partners.
The deal was advised by the Nottingham office of law firm Gateley.
Exco InTouch provides mobile patient communication and management solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
The company said the funding would allow it to invest in additional staff, technology and infrastructure. It would also enable it to "take advantage of significant growth opportunities in the clinical technology sector", said adviser Austin Moore, of Gateley.
Moore said: "Exco InTouch has a solid track record in the mobile patient communication market and has supported over half a million patients participating in clinical trials in more than 70 countries.
"It's a fast paced, emerging sector and we were pleased to act on this important deal, which will enable them to invest further in people, technology and infrastructure."
