Syntax answers London calling
Derby-based Syntax Consultancy has opened an office in London.
The company, which specialises in IT recruitment, said the need to expand came after a series of contract wins throughout Europe, the USA and Asia.
The London office, based in the Docklands, will be manned by senior personnel from Syntax with all operations remaining in Derby.
Syntax's managing director Roger Frost said: "We are now operating in a truly global market in terms of IT recruitment and are working with clients throughout the world to find them people with the specialist skills needed to develop cutting-edge technology in such areas as financial services, telecommunications and digital media."
He also said the company was looking to grow its Derby workforce from 43 to 50 by Christmas.
Frost added it was "vital" that the company had a presence in London.
"London is recognised throughout the world as a commercial centre of excellence," he said.
"However all the work to resource candidates and deliver the contract and permanent candidate resourcing will continue to be handled at our offices in Derby where we have the expertise and experience within the IT recruitment team."
