A Bromyard-based accountancy firm is expanding and has purchased new premises with a £200,000 European Investment Bank (EIB) loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial.

Andrew Winterburn has moved from its old premises in Lloyds Bank Chambers to a larger, grade II listed 17th century building on Broad Street.

The firm, which has clients across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and South Shropshire, said the relocation was part of a bid to drive more business opportunities with companies across the region.

Currently employing four people, the firm said it now plans to increase staffing levels over the next few months.

To fund the purchase of the new premises, business owner Andrew Winterburn secured a £200,000 EIB loan, which can be used for purposes including purchasing or renovating property.

Winterburn said: "This is a very important move for the business and reflects our desire to expand. The new office provides more serviceable facilities for both our staff and our clients and allows us to deliver our expertise in an even more professional environment.

"Bromyard and the wider South Midlands has a wealth of companies looking for quality local accountancy support and thanks to our expanded facilities, we look forward building relationships with new clients across the region."
