Something for the weekend
Nottingham invades London
Breaking news: the government is in trouble. How do we know this? Well, it seems the entire cabinet has been sacked and replaced with the best minds Nottingham can serve up. Take a look at our exclusive photo here – men who will restore this once great nation to its rightful place at the top of the economic pile. Knock, knock. Who’s there? Lorraine…
Imagine, if you can, dear reader, being inside 10 Downing Street. The history. The glamour. The temptation to steal a napkin with a special motif on it. It must play tricks with your mind. Lorraine Baggs of Invest in Nottingham was so lost in similar moments of reverie that she left her handbag inside the famous house, and had to knock on the door to try and retrieve it. Hope you got it sorted, Lorraine.

The Discovering Men's Sheds conference – you read that right - took place last night at the Ramada Leicester Hotel, to discuss new ways to help tackle isolation experienced by older men. Well, at least it's in a good cause.
