Sills & Betteridge expands with second merger
Lincolnshire law firm Sills & Betteridge has announced plans to merge with Skegness-based Norman Green Solicitors.
Effective from 1 October, Sills & Betteridge said the deal will allow it to better serve clients in the coastal area.
The deal comes just weeks after Sills & Betteridge revealed it would merge with Boston-based Richard Tinn Solicitors.
Rachel Eager, sole principal of Norman Green Solicitors, will become a partner with Sills & Betteridge. Criminal solicitor Nicholas Alderson, legal executive John Blackbourne and several support staff will also join the merged practice.
Gordon Holt, partner at the Lincolnshire firm, will move to the Skegness office at 45 Algitha Road.
"The late Norman Green built up a very fine practice in Skegness which Rachel has continued. This merger will continue our strategy of serving the public and businesses across the whole county of Lincolnshire," said Andrew Payne, Sills & Betteridge's senior partner.
