Jones Homes in Glossop win
GL Hearn’s land and planning team has secured a site for potential residential development by Jones Homes in Glossop, Derbyshire.
Located on land north of York Street, GL Hearn's Manchester team initially identified the 1.4 acre site and, negotiated a deal to buy it from current landowner Stagecoach for an undisclosed sum.
Client Jones Homes, part of the Emerson Group, has now submitted a detailed planning application for a residential development on the site.
Comprising 28 two- and three-bedroom homes, the development has been subject to detailed pre-application discussions with High Peak Borough Council’s planning team. The scheme includes a commitment to build eight "affordable" homes.
