Topps Tiles forecasts revenue drop
Year-end revenues are expected to hit £175m at Topps Tiles, the Leicestershire company announced this morning.
The tile and wood flooring specialist said it expects revenues to fall below its 2010 results, which hit £182.4m.
Total sales would be 1.7 per cent below the previous year if estimates are achieved, Topps said in a trading statement this morning (27 September).
The board said it expected adjusted pre-tax profit for the 52 week period to be within the range of analysts' estimates (about £12.9m).
Topps will end the year with a total of 320 stores in the UK, having opened 15 during the financial period and closed or relocated seven.
