McCabe joins Shoosmiths
Law firm Shoosmiths has poached Shaun McCabe from rival Browne Jacobson, where he headed the East Midlands banking team.
McCabe will act for banks, other funders and corporate borrowers on transactions including real estate finance, refinancings and restructures.
He works in asset-based lending, with clients including Leumi ABL and Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.
Shoosmiths partner and head of corporate, Chris Garnett, said: "Shaun joining is great news for us. He is a first class banking lawyer and is very well known in the region’s banking and corporate finance community.
"We intend Shaun to cover both Nottingham and Birmingham, working closely with partner Helen Wilson, as we look to take our banking practice in the Midlands to the next level."
