National Express creates 150 jobs

Transport operator National Express has revealed plans to create 150 jobs across the West Midlands.

The company will create 50 jobs each in its Birmingham, the Black Country and Coventry centres.

The company is looking for bus drivers with a clean driving licence. Applicants will be provided with full training and national qualifications in numeracy and literacy.

Madi Pilgrim, HR director of National Express West Midlands, said: "There are a lot of people looking for jobs across the West Midlands at present.

"The job of a bus driver is rewarding, flexible and very social as well as providing great service to local people.

"We have fantastic staff in the West Midlands and successful applicants would be joining a large and established business that plays a key part in many peoples' lives."
