Profits double at eg solutions
Stafford-based IT company eg solutions has increased pre-tax profit by 92.4 per cent for the six months to 31 July 2011.
The AIM-listed company increased its revenue year-on-year by 10.3 per cent from £2.4m to £2.7m.
Pre-tax and pre-exceptionals profit rose from £145,000 to £279,000 during the period.
Rodney Baker-Bates, non-executive chairman, said: "The demand for back office optimisation solutions continues, with existing and new customers, both in the UK and internationally, responding positively to our existing products as well as those we are developing.
"Given the proportion of anticipated revenues contracted, and with the sales pipeline growing, we remain confident of our prospects for the remainder of the financial year."
As a result of the improved performance, basic earnings per share increased by 220 per cent from 0.5 pence to 1.6 pence.
