P&D Engineering expands with new premises
Coventry engineering company P&D Engineering has bought a new 4,000 sq ft factory adjacent to its Exhall premises to support expansion plans.
The new unit aims to improve the company's production abilities and add further jobs over the next year.
P&D's banking partners, RBS, provided the loan to purchase the unit.
P&D sales manager Paul Thomas said: "As the business has continued to grow we have had limited space available to expand, so the opportunity to purchase this new unit is a great strategic fit for us.
"The additional space and production capacity it provides will allow us to increase our current level of sales. It also allows us to recruit additional staff to the business to meet demand and provides us with an opportunity to potentially expand our product range and services."
The engineering business was established in 1969, originally as toolmakers supplying fixtures and tools to the West Midlands automotive industry.
