Blacks exit for Lombardo
Outdoor equipment retailer Blacks Leisure has announced the resignation of its finance director.
Marc Lombardo is set to leave the company on 16 December 2011, Northampton-based Blacks said today (16 September 2011). It comes only a month after chairman David Bernstein left the board.
Blacks Leisure said its nomination committee would now start a process to find and appoint a successor.
Peter Williams, interim chairman of Blacks, said: "Marc has helped steer Blacks through some challenging times in retail.
"On behalf of the board I would like to thank him for the significant contribution that he has made to the company over the last three years and wish him every success in his new role."
Lombardo added: "The end of the year feels like the right time for me to move on to a new challenge once Julia Reynolds, our new CEO, is well established in the business. I wish Julia and all my colleagues well for the future."
