Midlands-based businesses are being urged to enter Insider's Made in the Midlands Awards to capitalise on the opportunity to gain much-deserved recognition and benefit from the high levels of publicity and promotion that entries will receive across the region, the UK and beyond.

Open to companies of all sizes across the East and West Midlands, Insider's Made in the Midlands Awards Dinner will celebrate products and solutions being created and manufactured in the Midlands. This new awards dinner also intends to raise the profile of those companies at the pinnacle of advances in manufacturing and innovation.

Marlen Roberts, managing director at Insider Media Limited, said: "At Insider we have always understood and believed in the importance of manufacturing, innovation and exporting from the Midlands.

The Insider Made in the Midlands Awards Dinner includes six categories: Green Manufacturer of the Year, Innovation Award, Export Award, Technology Transfer Award, Manufacturing Personality of the Year and Manufacturing Company of the Year.

The award winners will be announced at the Made in the Midlands Awards Dinner, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 1 November.
