CP Bigwood takes on 500 properties
Property agent and auctioneer CP Bigwood has taken over the management of more than 500 properties on Birmingham's Park Central complex.
An unnamed client purchased the freehold of part of the Crest Nicholson Regeneration site last year.
The move will mean Birmingham-based CP Bigwood managing 543 apartments from 1 October, the company said.
It comes weeks after CP Bigwood formally launched on 1 September with the merger of Bigwood and Curry & Partners having taken place earlier in the year.
Brett Williams, partner in the company's residential service charge department and a former chairman of the Association of Residential Managing Agents, said: "This client becomes the department's second biggest as a result of this acquisition.
"We have worked with them for three to four years and, on their behalf, have taken over a number of developments during the last two years, so impressed have they been with our service and ability to resolve previous management issues.
"This latest instruction is a major contract and we are very pleased to have been appointed."
Following the merger between Bigwood and Curry & Partners, CP Bigwood manages some 15,000 flats and apartments in 450 developments across the country.
