CityBlock opens up second Leicester site
Student accommodation provider CityBlock has opened its latest multimillion-pound site in Leicester.
CityBlock provides city centre student accommodation in Lancaster and Leicester. Its most recent project has now opened up near to De Montfort University.
The block comprises 76 en-suite rooms with fully fitted kitchens and communal areas.
This is the second block to open up in Leicester and the fourth to built under the CityBlock brand. The fifth site is now under construction in Lancaster and other locations are planned across the UK, said the company.
Trevor Bargh, the entrepreneur who founded CityBlock in 2003, said: "It is good to see the Lancaster ‘homegrown’ CityBlock brand reaching other parts of the UK. CityBlock provides unparalleled quality accommodation for students in Leicester and this becomes our flagship development."
All the rooms are fully let for the next academic year and the students will start to move in this weekend.
