WRG unveils £3m waste deal contractor
Northampton-based Waste Recycling Group (WRG) has awarded a contract worth up to £3m to AIM-listed TEG Group.
TEG Group, based in Chorley, develops and operates organic composting and energy plants.
The company said its subsidiary TEG Environmental has been appointed by WRG to process waste in TEG's current network of facilities.
The contract will start in the second half of 2012 and will run to March 2015. Its value will range from a minimum of £2m up to £3m, depending upon the volume of waste delivered over the period.
Mick Fishwick, chief executive of TEG Group, said: "We are delighted to be working with WRG. The contract will further underpin our operations, will provide an additional new revenue stream and will pleasingly further cement our relationship with WRG."
