Soho Cash and Carry opens Smethwick depot
Soho Cash and Carry has expanded in the Midlands after taking a lease on a site in Smethwick's Sandwell Business Park.
The retailer, which has branches in Handsworth and Wolverhampton, has taken a lease on a 44,134 sq ft unit at the business park on Crystal Drive.
Units 9-13 comprise a three-bay warehouse unit with office accommodation and parking.
The deal was brokered by the Birmingham office of DTZ, on behalf of AXA Real Estate / CIS.
John Sambrooks, associate director in DTZ’s industrial agency team, said: "Soho Cash and Carry required spacious and centrally located premises as part of their growth requirements to complement their Handsworth and Wolverhampton sites. The property at Crystal Drive provided the accommodation they required in a strategically placed location, with easy access to their customers and the M5 motorway."
Established in 2000, Soho Cash and Carry specialises in licensed, convenience and impulse purchase products.
