The former Works nightclub in Nottingham is set to house a Red Hot Buffet restaurant totalling 25,000 sq ft.

East Midlands property agent FHP has let the site in The Cornerhouse to the buffet restaurant operator.

Red Hot Buffet said it will commence fit-out works on the site in September. When completed, the company claims it will be the city's largest restaurant, with scope to accommodate up to 700 diners.

The ground and lower ground floor accommodation totals approximately 25,000 sq ft, opposite Trinity Square and between Pizza Hut and Tamatanga.

David Hargreaves, who brokered the letting with Lambert Smith Hampton’s Leicester Office, confirmed that the restaurant will open in the New Year.

Red Hot Buffet currently operates sites in Hockley, Northampton, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Cardiff.

FHP acted on behalf of the landlord, Ropemaker Properties, while Lambert Smith Hampton and Massers Solicitors acted for Red Hot World Buffet.
