New manager at Barclays Business
Kathy Leo has been appointed area manager for Barclays Business in Birmingham and Solihull.
Leo will head up a team of 14 in Barclays' business division, which specialises in working with small and medium sized companies.
She has 28 years' business experience which has included time spent in other industries and self employment.
Leo said: "I am delighted to be moving into this role which provides me with an opportunity to work with a number of local businesses. Many businesses don’t know if they should be expanding, contracting, sitting tight or selling up.
"But one thing for certain is that small and medium sized businesses are crucial to the UK economy, and at Barclays Business we are working hard to support our customer’s aspirations and business growth whatever their size."
Barclays said last year was its busiest year assisting start-ups since records began in 1988.
