Wragge & Co expands in UAE
Birmingham-based Wragge & Co has opened a second office in the United Arab Emirates. The law firm said its new Dubai site would help its strategy of increasing revenue through international work.
The Dubai office will be branded Wragge & Co Legal Consultants LLC, a joint venture between the law firm and Mohamed Al Mehairi, former director of legal strategy to the executive council of the government of Dubai.
Wragge & Co's first office opened in Abu Dhabi in December 2010. The firm specialises in legal translation services, including healthcare, projects, corporate, commercial, real estate, dispute resolution and arbitration.
Senior partner Quentin Poole said: "Our strategy is to increase the proportion of revenue from international work, through cross-border instructions led out of the UK and income from overseas offices.
"The Gulf region is full of opportunity for growth in areas in which Wragge & Co excels – healthcare, projects, real estate, construction, dispute resolution and arbitration. We have something different and compelling to offer."
