Apprentice star heads up Birmingham workshop
A former candidate on BBC TV show The Apprentice is set to speak at a manufacturing workshop in Birmingham.
Jo Cameron will join manufacturers at the Midlands Art Centre to discuss how they can boost sales and gain a greater market share.
Cameron, who came third on the reality TV show in 2006, has since founded the High Performance Academy. She is also a former training manager at MG Rover.
Funded by the Manufacturing Advisory Service–West Midlands Auto (MAS-WM Auto), the 'Growing for Gold' workshop aims to give delegates tips and techniques on growing their business by using low-cost options and identifying the right targets.
Cameron said: "We have some of the world’s best manufacturers, but sometimes they need a little help in how to promote themselves and to showcase their expertise to potential new customers.
"This event will give them the chance to learn some cost effective techniques that will not squeeze their marketing budgets, but could prove the difference between landing more sales and entering new markets."
The event is free for small and medium sized businesses in the West Midlands and takes place on 15 September.
