Sandford returns to RSM Tenon

RSM Tenon in the East Midlands has recruited Jill Sandford from rival PKF in Nottingham.

Sandford will join the firm's corporate recovery team as associate director.

She returns to the accountancy firm having worked for nine years at PKF and, prior to that, was with RSM Tenon before its merger.

Sandford has 25 years’ experience advising directors, stakeholders and financially troubled businesses on restructuring solutions and strategies for future survival.

She said: "My role at RSM Tenon will be working with SME's across the Midlands who are experiencing financial difficulty. Often the advice they needs is straightforward - but from experience I’ve learnt that it can mean the difference between survival or failure.

"In the current economic climate it is vital we let businesses know what help is available to them. Their biggest threat is becoming entangled in cash-flow debt even though the company is thriving.

"This can force them into formal insolvency proceedings such as administration or liquidation – but with help from RSM Tenon this can sometimes be avoided or professionally managed."

Sandford will work alongside Dilip Dattani, RSM Tenon's regional director for the Midlands.
