Shaylor wins £13m projects
Construction company Shaylor, based in Aldridge, has won several contracts worth more than £13m.
The recent wins include two new depots for Western Power at Telford and Grantham, three new-build construction projects in the region and a private nursery.
Shaylor has also been appointed to work on a MyPlace Youth facility and a courtyard extension at King Edwards VI High School for Girls in Edgbaston, where it is simultaneously working on a £7.2m performing arts centre.
The company's interiors division has also been appointed to work on four new projects, Two of these involve refurbishing student accommodation at Warwick University, and Mansion Brook in Birmingham. Shaylor Interiors has also won an office refurbishment contract in Bristol.
Chief executive Stephen Shaylor said: "These contract wins include some notable projects and blue chip clients that reflect our commitment to providing added value with quality of service and delivery at its core.
"Balanced growth across all of our service offerings which cover repair and maintenance, smaller special projects and interiors as well as construction will help us maintain our position despite the severe cutbacks in capital spending from the public sector."
