Ikanos Consulting sets up at The Point
IT solutions provider Ikanos Consulting has moved into The Point in West Bridgford. The site is the company's first permanent UK base.
Ikanos Consulting has taken a second floor office suite of 1,464 sq ft on a five-year lease.
East Midlands property agent Innes England secured the office deal on behalf of Bournston Developments.
It is the first office Ikanos Consulting has established after it was set up by owner James Woodall four years ago.
The company, which counts mobile phone giant Motorola among its clients, was previously run from Woodhall's home.
Woodhall said: "Since August last year, things have just exploded and there are now around 11 of us in total. I moved to Nottingham from Brighton last year, and have been living in West Bridgford ever since. I decided to look for an office because I felt we needed a permanent base.
"At this point we only have one UK-based client, so this move will also be a great opportunity for us to target some more local companies too.”
The Nottingham office of law firm Gateley advised the deal, acting on behalf of the landlord.
