Hobbycraft opens new-look store

Arts and crafts retailer Hobbycraft has unveiled its newly refurbished store in Northampton.

The store is the fourth of Hobbycraft's 53 nationwide outlets to have undergone a revamp.

Under Hobbycraft's new-look scheme, which will be rolled out across the UK, the store features new departments, logo branding and ranges as well as a regular activity programme which is aimed to give customers an "interactive experience".

Hobbycraft will also introduce art and craft sessions for children at the Northampton site called Make’n’Take, it confirmed.

The refurbished store was opened by Hobbycraft store manager James Corfield and children from a holiday club in Daventry.

Lisa Looker, brand director for Hobbycraft, said: "We are delighted to give our Northampton store a great new makeover. We really hope it helps to inspire children and adults alike to discover some of life’s simpler pleasures and get creative."
