Herbert Baggaley goes back to school with contract wins
Mansfield-based building contractor Herbert Baggaley Construction has completed 16 school building projects worth a total of £1.4m.
The company was appointed to several refurbishment schemes in schools across the East Midlands over the summer break.
Herbert Baggaley was awarded the 16 contracts through the Scape/East Midlands Property Alliance (Empa) Minor Works Framework.
Repairs and improvements to schools across the Empa region were carried out by the company including the creation of classrooms at several schools in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Herbert Baggaley also constructed a new library in a school in Leicester.
Ian Baggaley, managing director of Herbert Baggaley Construction, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts under the Scape/empa framework.
"The framework allows public sector clients quick and easy access to construction and consultancy services and we hope the children and staff across the region will benefit from the improvements to their schools and all can enjoy the start of their new term in safe surroundings."
