The Manor House opens with Lloyds funding
A day care centre has opened in Tamworth after securing a six-figure loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
The Manor House, located on Hockley Road, is operating from a three-storey Georgian property and employs seven people.
It comprises ten bedrooms and provides care for elderly people.
The company said a six-figure mortgage provided by Lloyds TSB Commercial’s healthcare banking team will allow it to carry out its future expansion plans.
Joanne Thompson, director and centre manager of The Manor House, said: "The government has recently introduced measures which allow elderly people and their carers to choose care services that are most appropriate to their needs and ultimately, raise standards in social care.
"We wanted to purchase a property in Tamworth to help facilitate our business’ growth and ensure stability for future years, and the Lloyds TSB Commercial support has been vital in making this happen.
Elaine Colwell, relationship manager for Lloyds TSB Commercial, added: "Our investment and ongoing support of this business is a result of the clear strategic objectives that Joanne and her team have outlined in order to maximise future growth in the company."
