George Green kicks off academy opening
Black Country law firm George Green has advised Kidderminster Harriers Football Club on establishing two partnership academies with Stourbridge College.
The football and hospitality academies will separately offer training in both industries to over-16s.
Both academies have now opened, with the football scheme offering courses to about 70 students and the hospital academy taking on 26 apprentices.
Guy Green, head of corporate at George Green, said: "We were really proud to be able to help Kidderminster Harriers with the setting up of their two academies, in partnership with Stourbridge College.
"With the current unemployment levels of young people, both academies will go a long way to improving the aspirations of local school leavers and benefit the local economy by turning out qualified and ambitious young adults."
