Chantrey Vellacott launches education arm
Accountancy firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK has launched a new arm of its business to cover education.
Chantrey Vellacott DFK – which has offices in Leicester and Northampton – said its new arm aims to support academies, independent schools and colleges that have converted to 'academy' status. It said it had established its 'education group' following a surge in demand for education services.
Bill Devitt, a partner at Chantrey Vellacott DFK, said: "The opportunity to seek academy status is an exciting one for many governors and school heads, and the number of schools converting is increasing rapidly. Moving to academy status does however bring with it many additional financial and regulatory responsibilities which must be addressed.
“The creation of our education group will support our expertise in the sector and will now give real focus to our service offering."
Chantrey Vellacott offers accounting, taxation and related advisory services.
