Mills & Reeve advises Toyota deals
The Birmingham office of law firm Mills & Reeves has advised Toyota's UK subsidiary on two deals.
Mills & Reeve advised Toyota Tsusho Automobile London Holdings, the UK subsidiary of Toyota Corporation Japan, on deals with Currie Motors UK, a retail representative of Lexus and Toyota vehicles.
The first deal concerned the sale of the business and assets of Toyota Tsusho Automobile London Holdings’ car dealership at Coombe Lane flyover, Kingston.
In its second advisory role, Mills & Reeve worked on the acquisition of the business and lease of the land and buildings of Currie Motors UK's car dealership in Brookhill Road, Barnet, to Toyota Tsusho Automobile London Holdings.
Currie Motors UK is a family owned business with four dealerships in the South East of England
Toyota Tsusho has embarked on a drive to strengthen its London-based retail business and is currently building a new “super site” dealership in nearby Enfield.
The Mills & Reeve team was led by corporate solicitor Junaid Haroon.
