Zenith assets to be sold off
Zenith Precision Engineering, based in Coventry, has called in asset recovery specialists to dispose of its machinery and assets after falling into administration.
Winterhill Largo, the Blackburn-based asset recovery company, has been instructed by Zenith's administrators to manage the disposals.
Joint administrators Daniel Plant and Simon Plant of SFP were appointed on 20 July 2011, after the company's directors closed the £1m turnover business. Zenith had employed 16 staff.
Winterhill Largo is marketing the company’s plant & machinery, including Mazak CNC machining centres, conventional machine tools and inspection equipment ahead of an auction on 5 September.
Iain Gash of Winterhill Largo said: "We understand Zenith had a good reputation for its products especially in the automotive sector which included machining parts such as engine and trim components, and gearbox casings utilised by Aston Martin and Bugatti.
"We are marketing the machines which engineered these products and early signs would indicate great interest.
"As one of the UK’s specialists in the field of realising the maximum value for assets of this type; Winterhill Largo has been involved with a number of similar instructions in the precision and heavy engineering sectors recently."
