Dawes joins Squire Sanders Hammonds
Law firm Squire Sanders Hammonds has appointed Edward Dawes as partner to its Birmingham office.
Dawes will join Squire Sanders Hammonds in September from Wragge & Co, where he has been a partner in the corporate team for the last 12 years. At Wragge & Co, Dawes led the firm’s equity markets M&A team.
He will join the three other partners in Squire Sanders Hammonds' Birmingham corporate team; private equity specialist Peter McLintock; Geoff Perry and Christian Lowis.
Dawes said: "I am excited to be joining Squire Sanders Hammonds and was attracted both by its philosophy and its strong and established international credentials.
"Working with the existing team, several members of which I already know well, having worked with them previously at Wragge & Co, I am looking forward to developing the firm’s corporate profile both in the Midlands market and beyond, as well as to expanding relationships with clients that operate internationally, to give full support on their day-to-day operational requirements and for M&A."
