NMC appoints new director
Civil engineering company North Midland Construction (NMC) has appointed the first commercial director to its highways and special projects division.
Kevin Ogden was promoted to the role from his previous position as commercial manager at the company.
NMC said the new role had been created as a response to the growing number of infrastructure and public realm contracts the highways and special projects division has won.
Revenue in the division increased by 30 per cent in 2010.
Ogden said: "I’m pleased to be taking on this new role where I will help drive the division to meet our ambitious targets. Market conditions remain challenging so I’m keen to ensure we utilise our experience and expertise to develop all opportunities and continue to secure higher value projects."
