Snape swings into Harborough
A business founded by former England cricketer Jeremy Snape is among the first to have moved into the Harborough Innovation System.
Sports performance company Sporting Edge, established by Snape, has moved into the hub alongside three other companies.
The £4.2m centre comprises 52 offices, eight studios, catering facilities and a business centre.
Design company Broderick Projects, accountancy firm RMLC Associates and property development agency Intali have also set up on the site.
Centre manager Mick Judge said: "We are delighted to welcome our first clients to Harborough Innovation Centre and we are now starting to establish a thriving community of entrepreneurs here. We have been very pleased by the response to promotion of the centre and continue to have a strong pipeline of enquiries with another company already scheduled to move in by early September."
Project partners behind the innovation centre are: Harborough District Council; William Davis; East Midlands Development Agency (emda); European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Prospect Leicestershire.
