King takes the throne at Chase Chamber

Share | |

Chase Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new president. Anne King succeeds Fred Pritchard who served at the helm for nearly three years.

New vice presidents at the chamber are Tim Thacker from Premier Nutrition Products; Phil Bradford of Oak Factors and Jenny Webb, who is a magistrate, trustee of the Chase Citizens Advice Bureau and on the board of Chase Volunteer Services representing the third sector.

King runs a micro business which was established in 1994 providing a computer system and software applications business.

She said: "As a small business owner I strongly advocate how useful membership of the chamber is. I was part of the decision making board which agreed to the merger with Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group. It has opened up wider opportunities for local businesses.

"During my year in office my aims are to raise the profile of Chase Chamber and encourage membership from a wider area within South Staffordshire. The merger with Birmingham and other chambers within the group means members can promote their services and products to businesses in these wider areas and have a stronger voice at government level on issues which are important to companies."

Chase Chamber is part of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group.
