Hobsons chooses Newby Castleman
Accountancy firm Hobsons has acquired the Nottingham office of Leicestershire-based rival Newby Castleman.
Partner Stuart Foster and his team will join Hobson’s Nottingham office.
Foster said: "After spending 27 years of my working life at Newby Castleman, moving to Hobsons will be a huge change. The time was right for the move however, and I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues and friends at Hobsons."
Hobsons has offices in Nottingham and Newark. Newby Castleman will continue to operate from its offices in Leicester and Loughborough.
Hobsons' managing partner, Jim Scully, added: "We have known Stuart for many years and are delighted to welcome him on board. He will bring a wealth of experience to the practice along with high quality staff and clients. In the financial climate in which we all currently operate, it's good to have a positive story."
