Seven deals signed at Lakeside

Seven units have been let on the Lakeside Industrial Estate in Redditch. The deals were completed on behalf of Centurion Properties and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust.

Property consultants Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and CBRE completed the lettings.

New tenants include electronics company Maxey Moverley which has taken unit six – a refurbished warehouse comprising 11,711 sq ft - on a ten-year lease. The company is to use the site as a technical service centre for the repair and refurbishment of CCTV systems, alarm systems and other electronic equipment.

Tyre recovery company Tirec has agreed a deal to take the 15,572 sq ft unit 15 on a ten-year lease with a five-year break option.

Stratford Precision Engineering Services has agreed a ten-year lease on the 15,516 sq ft unit five, while LA Glass has extended its lease of the 6,391 sq ft unit 13 for a similar term.

Other occupiers on the 17-unit estate include Redditch Borough Council, Jex Engineering, BASF and Clements & Street design and build.
