A 'record' number of lots are expected to go under the hammer at Savills Nottingham's next auction.

Buyers will have a total of 52 lots to consider, including residential and commercial sites, said the property agent.

Development land investments and farm land will also be up for grabs at the auction on 1 September.

Rob Crocker, auctioneer and director at Savills Nottingham, said: "This will be the largest Savills Nottingham auction ever. It's also the first time that farms have been auctioned and we’re expecting many new faces in the sale room. We're already seeing strong interest from a wide range of purchasers across Nottingham and the Midlands."

Lots include 138 acres of farmland at Swillow Lane, Rolleston, and Whatton Lodge farm, which comes with a house and 114 acres of farm land. The guide price for the latter is set at £950,000.

The Vine Inn in Spalding, a former pub with potential for conversion to residential subject to the necessary planning permissions, has a guide price of between £125,000 and £150,000.

The auction will take place at Nottingham Racecourse, Colwick.
