Lichfield-based logistics business Palletways UK has signed a new two-year contract with metalwork product manufacturer Simpson Strong-Tie.

Palletways said the contract extends a six-year partnership between the two as Simpson Strong-Tie will continue to use Palletways Birmingham in Lichfield and Palletways Scotland in Edinburgh to provide warehouse space and packing services for the manufacturer's product lines for delivery across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

It is anticipated that more than 2,000 pallets will be distributed monthly.

Michelle Naylor, general manager at Palletways Birmingham, said: "We are delighted to be given the opportunity to build on our relationship with Simpson Strong-Tie.

"We have developed a strong relationship based around the provision of a total logistics solution from Simpson’s production facility in Tamworth to their end customers. Our service covers track and trace, storage, pick and pack and distribution to multiple delivery points."
