Barrett leaves Pointon York
The deputy chairman of pensions specialist Pointon York has resigned as a director of the business.
The Market Harborough-based self-invested personal pensions specialist made the announcement about Howard Barrett's departure to the Stock Exchange following its Annual General Meeting.
A spokesman for the company said: "The board wishes to record its thanks for the valuable contribution Howard has made to the group during a period of rapid strategic change and business growth and wish him success in his pursuit of his other business opportunities and personal challenges."
Barrett was appointed as a director and as deputy chairman on 1 July 2010.
Pointon York has been in business since 1971. It states that the business has assets under administration worth £840m.
