CBRE gets Mailbox stamp of approval
CB Richard Ellis has been appointed to market 45,000 sq ft of office space at The Mailbox in Birmingham.
Brockton Capital, the new owner of the mixed-use development, has appointed the property consultancy to let the former Post Office sorting site.
The space, on level five of the building, is available as a single floor plate but with potential to add additional mezzanine space or split into smaller units.
Existing office leaseholders in the building include the BBC, Virgin Media and Network Rail.
David Zimmerman, partner at Brockton Capital, said: "We have significant capital budget allocated to maximise The Mailbox’s potential as a key destination for Birmingham. We are continuing our comprehensive strategic review of the asset, the results of which will be the basis for developing our overall vision for the future of The Mailbox."
Brockton Capital bought the site in a £127m deal in April this year. It made the purchase on behalf of Brockton Capital Fund, which will be partner in the transaction with co-investor Milligan.
