Danaher & Walsh secures £220m support spot
Civil engineering company Danaher & Walsh, based in Leicester, has won a place on a framework worth £220m with Anglian Water.
Water and environmental services provider Anglian has appointed the company as a contractor to provide services to its capital teams.
Working alongside six other contractors covering the whole of the Anglian region, Danaher & Walsh will provide a '24/7 response' and service for emergency works to the sewer infrastructure.
The Minor Works Framework - which covers civil, mechanical and electrical construction services - is worth £220m over the next five years.
Work involves the repair of burst rising mains and collapsed sewers, manhole replacements, sewage clean ups and assistance with jetting and surveys.
Russell Fitzjohn, general manager at Danaher & Walsh, said: "We are delighted to continue our working relationship with Anglian Water. The work is demanding and can be at unsociable hours but we have a committed, trained and highly skilled workforce that takes a pride in providing a first class service to Anglian Water and their clients."
