Edmond Shipway wins Center Parcs deal

Construction consultant Edmond Shipway, based in Nottingham, has been appointed to manage Center Parcs' treehouse accommodation project in Longleat Forest.

Edmond Shipway completed a similar project at Center Parcs' Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire earlier this year.

The company will work alongside architect Jackson Design Associates, which designed the treehouses on the Wiltshire site, and Uplands Construction, which has been appointed building contractor.

The two-storey, 2,500 sq ft treehouses will comprise four double bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, living space for eight people and a sauna.

Underfloor heating and solar panels will also feature on the properties.

Edmond Shipway will coordinate the fit-out of the interiors and will source, purchase and install the fittings.

David Stevenson, director at Edmond Shipway said: "We succeeded in delivering unique luxury accommodation at Sherwood Forest and we are delighted to be working with Center Parcs again on this similar project at Longleat Forest."
