Shortland Horne Commercial gets revamp
Property agent Shortland Horne Commercial has been renamed Shortland, Penn + Moore. The Coventry-based company said the new branding reflected a change in its management and a widening of services.
The firm, which was founded 11 years ago, specialises in sales, lettings, and investment agency services.
Jonathan Moore, formerly part of the investment team at the Birmingham office of DTZ, joined Shortland Horne as a director last year, which the company said was one of the reasons behind the rebranding.
David Penn, managing director of Shortland Penn + Moore, said: "We celebrated our tenth anniversary last year and decided to take a long look at what we did and how we did it.
"We have fared well during what has been a torrid time in the commercial property market and thought now was the right time for us to look at how we will operate as the economy improves. We want to be fully geared up and prepared for an uplift in market conditions."
The will company retain its links with the Shortland Horne's residential and lettings agency.
Shortland Horne was founded as a general property practice by David Shortland.
Penn joined the company from Countrywide in 1998 to set up the commercial division and it was established as a separate entity in 2000.
