Packt closes Birmingham office deal
Packt Publishing has taken 3,690 sq ft of office space in Livery Place, Birmingham. The company will move into part of the second floor after agreeing a deal with operator Highcross.
Packt has agreed a ten-year lease on the site, and will relocate its 35 staff from its existing premises into Birmingham city centre.
Rob Perry-Griffiths from Packt Publishing said: "The space, which has been comprehensively refurbished, combined with the building’s city centre location made Livery Place the ideal choice for our move into Birmingham."
The company was advised by the Birmingham office of property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle
Kelvin Craddock, senior surveyor in Jones Lang LaSalle’s office agency team, said: "This letting highlights that the sub 5,000 sq ft office market in Birmingham continues to be a key area of activity.
"This size bracket made up 77 per cent of city centre office transaction during the first half of the year, with many occupiers taking advantage of current market conditions and moving into the city centre."
